Criminal Justice Advocacy

Our Support and Advocacy Worker offers

Confidential, emotional and practical support to anyone who has reported or is considering reporting an experience of sexual violence that happened recently or in the past. In face to face sessions, you can use the time in any way that is helpful to you. This usually involves:

Providing information on what happens when you report to the Police

Supporting you to make your own decision on whether or not you want to report

If you do decide to report, our worker will support you when giving a statement, liaising with the Police during their investigation and through the court process should your case proceed to trial.

This service is based entirely around your individual needs. We will never put pressure on you to report but will give you time and information to reach your own decision.
